Corendon Takes off from Maastricht Airport
Pack your sunglasses, your flip-flops, and that hat you insist looks good — Corendon Airlines is back at Maastricht Aachen Airport, and the 2025 summer season just officially lifted off (literally) with the first flight taking off on April 21.
What’s on the menu this year? Oh, just a little something called nonstop sunshine. Corendon will be whisking holiday-hungry passengers off to Crete and Zakynthos from April to October, with a cheeky seasonal addition to Burgas, Bulgaria in July and August — because who doesn’t want to tan on the Black Sea while casually Googling what “Bulgarian rose oil” actually is?

Party Like It’s 2005
And while you’re mentally packing your carry-on, let’s raise a glass (or duty-free mini bottle) to Corendon itself — celebrating 25 years of getting us to the beach without bankrupting us. From humble beginnings as a tour operator in 2000 to full-fledged airline status by 2005, they’ve come a long way... and Maastricht’s been part of the ride since year one.

Ryanair’s Also in the Mix
Not to be outdone, Ryanair is also showing up to the Maastricht summer travel party with flights to Girona, Alicante, Porto, Zadar, and Bari. Basically, they’ve opened a fast-track lane to sangria, pastéis de nata, seafood risottos, and that “just jumped into the Adriatic” look you’ve been craving since November.
