Air Serbia resumes Geneva Flights
Good news for anyone who’s been dreaming of chocolate, mountains, and a side of international diplomacy — Air Serbia is officially bringing back its direct flights between Belgrade and Geneva starting June 23, 2025! Yep, three times a week (on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays), you’ll be able to zip between the Serbian capital and Switzerland’s classiest lakeside city without needing to master the art of the awkward airport transfer.

This marks Air Serbia’s second Swiss hotspot, joining Zurich, which is already getting some serious love this summer with up to 21 flights a week. Clearly, Air Serbia is in a Swiss mood — and honestly, who can blame them? Between the chocolate, the scenery, and the banking, what's not to love?
Geneva isn’t just about picturesque lake views and very expensive watches, though. It’s also a major player on the world stage (hello, UN!) and home to a big Serbian community, so this route makes a lot of sense. Whether you're visiting family, making deals, or just trying to pull off a James Bond-style stroll past the fountains, Air Serbia's got you covered.

Flights will be handled by the Embraer E195 — a nice, comfy choice if you’re the type who likes getting on and off planes without feeling like you’ve trekked a marathon. Monday and Friday flights will leave in the morning (perfect for maximizing those city breaks), while Wednesday’s flight is in the evening — ideal if you need a little extra time to remember where you left your passport.
And for those who like to keep their travel options open (or their layovers adventurous), the Geneva-Belgrade link makes it super easy to hop onward to places like Athens, Istanbul, Vienna, or even Tbilisi. Because why settle for just one fabulous city when you can have two (or three) in one trip?
Bottom line: More flights, more Swiss cheese, more reasons to pack a suitcase. Thanks, Air Serbia. We needed this.
