airBaltic Expands Winter 2025/26 Network
Tired of your toes freezing off in the Baltics every winter? Or maybe you actually like the cold and just want to ski your heart out somewhere glamorous? Either way, airBaltic has you covered. The Latvian airline just dropped its Winter 2025 flight schedule, and it’s like a holiday buffet—sun, snow, and a few wild-card destinations no one saw coming (we’re looking at you, Gran Canaria–Ljubljana).

Let’s dive in.
New Routes for the “Why Not?” Traveller
Forget predictable. This winter, airBaltic is offering up three brand-new routes that feel like they were chosen during a game of travel bingo:
- Riga to Faro (Portugal): Because who doesn’t want to swap slush for the Algarve’s golden beaches and grilled sardines? Weekly flights from September 6.
- Gran Canaria to Ljubljana: An actual plot twist. Swap Canary Island cocktails for Slovenian charm. Starts October 25.
- Tallinn to Madeira: Your Estonian winter escape just got a floral makeover. Starts October 26.
Weekly service, yes. Economy and Business class? Also yes. Champagne or budget-friendly snacks—you do you.
Amsterdam’s Getting a Workout
You know who’s really winning this winter? Amsterdam. airBaltic is increasing flights to the Dutch capital like stroopwafels are going out of fashion. Expect:
- 19 flights a week from Riga
- 14 flights each from Tallinn and Vilnius
That's almost three daily chances to hop on a plane and accidentally spend €60 at a cheese museum.
Dubai = More, Please
If your idea of winter includes zero snow and maximum sunshine, good news: airBaltic is ramping up service to Dubai. Riga keeps daily flights, and Vilnius is doubling to four per week. Sand dunes, skyscrapers, and beach weather in December? Don’t mind if we do.
Extended Summer Routes Because We’re Not Done Yet
airBaltic clearly refuses to accept that summer ends in August. Riga to Pisa and Porto now go into November, and flights to Sicily (Catania) restart earlier in March. Sunlight, pizza, wine—why stop the fun?
Ski Season Sorted
Prefer snow to sand? You’re covered. Literally. Fly straight into Europe’s best ski hubs: Geneva, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Verona, and even Kittilä, Finland (for peak winter bragging rights).
TL;DR: More Flights, More Fun
From sandcastles to snow angels, airBaltic is making winter feel like a choose-your-own-adventure book—just with way better food and less frostbite.
