Norwegian adds Oslo to Toulouse Route
If you needed an excuse to brush up on your French, pack your sunnies, and say “oui” to a getaway — here it is! Norwegian has just launched a brand new direct route from Oslo to Toulouse, kicking off on June 14 and running twice a week through to the end of October. And with this new addition, the airline’s flights to France are up a tasty 10% on last summer.

Flying home in style
The inaugural flight had an extra special touch — it was captained by pilot Julien Paul Henri Blanc, a Toulouse native now living in Norway. Flying home with a planeload of excited travellers? That’s a pretty nice day at the office. “It’s an honour to fly home and connect others to the beauty of the Occitanie region,” said Blanc. We’ll raise a glass of rosé to that!
Why Toulouse? Why not!
Toulouse, nicknamed La Ville Rose for its rosy-hued terracotta buildings, is a sun-drenched gem in southern France. Think cobbled streets, buzzing squares, riverside cafés, and a student vibe that keeps the city full of energy. It’s also home to Europe’s aerospace industry — but don’t worry, you won’t need a pilot’s license to enjoy it. Plus, with the Pyrenees nearby, it’s the perfect gateway for a hiking or skiing adventure.
