airBaltic now flying Tallinn to Reykjavik — just in time for your summer adventure

Estonians, get your cameras and woolly jumpers ready — airBaltic has just launched brand new direct flights from Tallinn to Reykjavik. That’s right: the land of volcanoes, geysers, and a lot of Instagrammable waterfalls is now just 3.5 hours away.

This new seasonal route is part of airBaltic’s growing summer network and runs twice a week — with flights leaving Tallinn on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and returning from Reykjavik on Thursdays and Sundays. It’s the perfect excuse to squeeze in a long weekend chasing the midnight sun or soaking in Iceland’s famous hot springs.

Tallinn to Iceland — now easier than ever

This marks airBaltic’s second route to Reykjavik, adding to its well-loved service from Riga — because apparently one route to Iceland just wasn’t enough. The flights are operated on the airline’s sleek Airbus A220-300, so expect comfy seats, both Economy and Business options, and speedy SpaceX Starlink internet that’ll let you upload your Blue Lagoon selfies before you even land.

airBaltic’s Estonian expansion

This new link brings airBaltic’s total number of direct summer routes from Tallinn to 22 — giving travellers more options than ever to swap their office chair for a mountain hike, black sand beach, or puffin-spotting tour.

According to airBaltic VP Mantas Vrubliauskas, the airline is serious about growing its presence in Estonia — and making it easier for travellers (and businesses) to connect with destinations across Europe and beyond. And let’s be honest — a direct Tallinn–Reykjavik flight is a pretty tempting way to do that.

So whether you’re dreaming of exploring Iceland’s dramatic landscapes, catching a concert in Reykjavik, or just ticking “visit a volcanic island” off your bucket list — this summer, airBaltic is making it a whole lot easier. Just pack layers — the weather in Iceland loves surprises.
