KLM Summer 2025 Tour

KLM Summer 2025 Is Basically a World Tour — And You’re Invited

Clear your calendar and dust off your passport, because KLM is going full “summer blockbuster” this year. With flights to 161 destinations and an expected 6.4 million passengers hopping aboard in July and August alone, KLM isn’t just flying — it’s thriving.

And guess what? There’s more seat capacity too — 4% more than last year, to be exact. That’s more room for your legs, your luggage, and your very important in-flight snack stash. North America is getting a 9% boost in flights, and if you’re headed to Portugal or Croatia, congrats — seat capacity there is up 25%. Basically, if you’ve ever dreamt of a European summer or a stateside escape, this is your year.

New Routes You Didn’t Know You Needed (Until Now)

This summer, KLM is pulling out the big map and adding six shiny new dots. On the intercontinental front: say hello to San Diego (surf’s up), Georgetown in Guyana (jungle meets Caribbean), and Hyderabad in India (starts in September, mark your diary).

In Europe, you’ll now be able to jet off to Ljubljana (Slovenia’s capital and a hidden gem), Exeter (for your quaint English countryside fix), and Biarritz (for anyone who wants French beach vibes and a surfboard). Early bookings on these new routes are already flying — pun intended.

The Season’s Off to a Flying Start

If you thought your local beach would be crowded, KLM is kicking off summer with a weekend frenzy: 330,000 passengers from July 4–6 alone. That’s a lot of sunscreen and neck pillows.

Old Favorites, Now With More Flights

Some of your go-to destinations are getting an upgrade. Expect daily flights to places like Las Vegas and Kilimanjaro, more service to Osaka and Tokyo from September, and even an extra Sunday flight to Curaçao. Basically, KLM is turning your travel wish list into a flight schedule.

Europe’s getting the love too: Porto’s now four times daily, Krakow and Poznan are getting extra flights, and Split is seeing double — twice daily in spring and autumn.

PSA: Milan Flights Are Getting a Glow-Up

KLM is also ditching Milan Malpensa and moving its Italian operations to Linate — which, if you’ve ever tried to get from Malpensa to the city centre during rush hour, you’ll understand is a small act of mercy.

In Short?

KLM Summer 2025 is making summer travel easier, roomier, sunnier, and closer to the gelato. So wherever you’re going, there’s probably a KLM flight with your name on it.
