British Airways Adds Rabat, Graz and increases Madrid service
British Airways is out here acting like your overachieving friend who just had to start salsa lessons and a startup in the same week. The airline is spicing up its short-haul game with two brand-new routes and a whole lot more action out of London City Airport.
What’s new, you ask?
Starting this winter, BA Euroflyer (that’s the Gatwick-based sibling who wears business casual to brunch) will kick off:
- Twice-weekly flights to Rabat – from November 5, every Wednesday and Sunday. Perfect for when you need sun, souks, and couscous to cure your November blues.
- Three weekly flights to Graz – launching November 21, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It’s Austria’s best-kept secret — full of baroque charm, Styrian food, and soon, Eurovision madness. Yes, that Eurovision.
And before you ask: yes, there is business class (Club Europe), and yes, you can access BA’s newly zhuzhed-up Gatwick lounge. Because even short-haul deserves a bit of smug sipping prosecco before takeoff.
If you need help with your next event, incentive, meeting, conference or group to Morocco, please
But wait, there’s Madrid…
Over at London City Airport, BA Cityflyer is launching 11 weekly flights to Madrid starting December 1. That’s right: more flights to the Spanish capital than you have unread WhatsApps. Whether you’re heading for tapas or teeing up a long-haul jaunt to Bogotá, Lima, or Montevideo, this makes your life significantly less complicated.
Why should you care?
Because this brings British Airways’ short-haul destination count to a tidy 130, and because the idea of hopping from London to Graz for strudel or to Rabat for sunshine (while everyone else is fighting for Tube space in the rain) sounds like a winter win.
So go ahead—book that flight, stash your hand luggage-sized dreams, and enjoy Europe like you own the skies. Or at least like you’ve got enough Avios to pretend you do.
