Air Algérie Returns to Budapest

Air Algérie Returns to Budapest

After five long years (and one global pandemic-induced timeout), Air Algérie is dusting off its suitcase and heading back to Budapest. Starting 29 October 2025, the airline is officially resuming flights to the Hungarian capital - and it’s not just a one-way affair. It’s a full-blown triangular fling with Vienna thrown in for good measure.

A Love Triangle You’ll Actually Want to Be In

Twice a week, you can hop on a Boeing 737-700 and zigzag your way through this Euro trio:

  • Wednesdays: Algiers → Vienna → Budapest → Algiers
  • Saturdays: Algiers → Budapest → Vienna → Algiers

That’s right, one minute you're sipping mint tea in Algiers, the next you’re lost in a Viennese waltz or soaking in Budapest’s famous thermal baths. Culture shock? More like culture bonus.

But Wait—There’s Beach!

Budapest is lovely, but if your passport is crying out for sunburns and buffet breakfasts, Air Algérie is also dialing up the summer holiday vibes with expanded charter flights to some of the Mediterranean’s greatest hits:

  • Egypt: You can now fly to Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada from Algiers, Oran, Constantine, and Annaba. Think red sea, not red tape.
  • Tunisia: Two weekly flights to Djerba (August–September), complete with all-inclusive packages. Because nothing says “stress-free” like a wristband that gives you unlimited snacks.
Why Should You Care?

Now that it’s 2025, it’s time for you to travel somewhere that is not some boring Zoom background - how about Algérie? They are offering new travel packages, and them talking is certainly motivating for anyone who is going on beach naps or just looking for air travel that enables them to cross 3 countries within a day.

If you're a travel enthusiast, it’s time to freshen up on that travel playlist and dig into Europe as Budapest has so charmingly reappeared on the board to entice new travelers.
