airBaltic adds nine new Routes 2026
If you thought airBaltic was going to sit back and sip an Aperol Spritz this summer, think again. The airline just announced a serious glow-up for its 2026 summer schedule: nine new routes, more flights on nearly 30 others, and enough sun-drenched destinations to make your winter self green with envy. From late March to late October, airBaltic wants to be your one-stop shop for summer escapism.
Riga: The Launchpad of Dreams
The Latvian capital is already a solid gateway, but now it’s getting even busier. New connections from Riga will include Kaunas Lithuania, Oulu Finland, and Antalya Turkey (hello, beach loungers). On top of that, Riga is welcoming back some old flames - Aberdeen Scotland, Belgrade Serbia, and Yerevan Armenia are returning to the network, ready for their reunion tour.

Tallinn Steps Into the Spotlight
Estonia’s capital is no longer content being the quiet Baltic sibling - it’s getting bold with new direct flights to Athens, Hamburg, and Vienna. That means Tallinn residents can now hop from medieval cobblestones to Greek islands, German beer halls, or Viennese coffeehouses without even changing planes. Talk about options.
Frequency Fever: More Seats, More Sunshine
airBaltic isn’t just flirting with new routes—it’s doubling down on old favorites too. Frequencies are going up to some of Europe’s hottest destinations, including Istanbul, Larnaca, Malaga, Milan, Nice, Palma de Mallorca, and Tbilisi. Translation: fewer excuses for missing that beach holiday or city break because “the flights didn’t work out.” Now they do.
Bigger Network, Bigger Ambitions
By summer 2026, airBaltic plans to operate nearly 110 routes across its bases in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and Finland. That’s about a 7% bump compared to summer 2025. Acting CCO Thomas Ramdahl summed it up neatly, saying the expansion reflects airBaltic’s mission to keep the Baltic region better connected while giving travelers more choice than ever.
Baltics to the World, World to the Baltics
Whether you’re itching for beaches in Antalya, a culture fix in Vienna, or a shopping spree in Milan, airBaltic has you covered. Summer 2026 isn’t just about travel—it’s about bragging rights when you tell your friends, “Oh, I just flew from Tallinn to Athens direct, no big deal.”
So pack your flip-flops, your appetite for adventure, and maybe a second suitcase for souvenirs—airBaltic is officially in summer party mode.
