Iberia announces Winter 2025/26 Schedule

Iberia announces Winter 2025/26 Schedule: More Flights, More Fun, Less Hibernation
Most of us see winter and think: wool socks, too much Netflix, and the vague promise of mulled wine. Iberia, on the other hand, sees opportunity. The Spanish flag carrier has unleashed its winter 2025/26 programme (26th October 2025 – 28th March 2026), and it’s less “hibernation” and more “stamp every page of your passport.”
Brand-New Routes: Orlando & Brazil Join the Party
First up, the newcomers.
- Madrid–Orlando: Kicking off 26 October with four weekly A330 flights. Translation: Spaniards can now go directly from churros to churros-flavoured butterbeer. Theme parks, Florida beaches, and questionable headlines await.
- Recife & Fortaleza, Brazil: Starting December 13 and January 19, three weekly flights each with Iberia’s shiny A321XLRs. It’s narrowbody efficiency meets samba rhythm. Madrid tapas out, Brazilian caipirinhas in.
So basically: Orlando for family chaos, Brazil for beach parties. Iberia knows how to balance.

Latin America: Iberia’s True Winter Crush
If Iberia had a relationship status on Facebook, it would read: “In a serious commitment with Latin America.” And the airline isn’t hiding it.
- Santo Domingo: Twice daily. Because bachata playlists need constant refreshing.
- San Juan, Puerto Rico: 14 flights a week. One piña colada per day, on schedule.
- Rio de Janeiro: Daily in February, just in time for Carnival. Subtle? Not at all.
- Santiago de Chile: 12 weekly flights. Double-daily mountain escapes.
- Lima: Two flights every day for nonstop ceviche runs.
And across North America:
- New York: Twice daily all winter. Apparently, Manhattan wasn’t getting enough tapas.
- Boston: Double daily on A321XLRs — Iberia’s narrowbody love letter to Red Sox fans.
- Washington, D.C.: Three weekly, now year-round. Even democracy needs a direct Madrid connection.
Europe: Iberia’s Winter Playground
Not everything’s about long-haul glamour. Iberia also went wild in Europe:
- Amsterdam: Four flights a day. Stroopwafels on demand.
- Rome: 44 weekly. Pasta is now practically a shuttle service.
- Paris: Up to 11 daily flights. Forget Eurostar; this is air-bus service.
- Seasonal gems: Innsbruck, Tromsø, and Rovaniemi return — ski slopes, Northern Lights, and Santa, in that order.
The Big Picture: Madrid’s Glow-Up
All this fits neatly into Iberia’s “Flight Plan 2030,” a strategy to turn Madrid into the transatlantic hub. More connections, more flexibility, and yes — more excuses for churros at Barajas.
The Bottom Line
While you’re layering jumpers, Iberia’s layering destinations. Orlando, Brazil, Caribbean, Andes, Paris, Rome — it’s less winter blues, more passport chaos.
