You don’t need to be an expert kayaker. In fact, it’s probably better if you’re not. Most trips start with a quick introduction that feels reassuring at the time and slightly optimistic once you’re actually on the water.
There will be a moment where everything clicks and you glide along like you know exactly what you’re doing. There may also be moments where you spin gently in a circle while pretending it’s intentional.
Both are part of the experience.
Serenity and Surprises Await You
Along the river, there are areas that are still and provide the perfect opportunity to sit and relax. On your journey, you will encounter areas that are all fast moving, but will not overwhelm you.
You will come across still areas and perhaps a few small rapids. If the temperature is warm, a swim will be in your itinerary. Many conversations are had, and that is because there is no cell service and no other distractions. You are all in this together.
