Wizz Air adds 3 new routes to Polish network Summer 2026
Wizz Air has clearly looked at Summer 2026 and thought, “Poland deserves more seaside.” The airline has announced three brand-new leisure routes launching for the Spring/Summer 2026 season, adding even more sunshine to its Polish network — and giving travellers fewer reasons to stay at home scrolling weather apps.
The new routes will roll out between late May and early June 2026, just in time for peak holiday planning (and peak “I need a break” energy).
Where Are We Flying This Summer?
First up: Warsaw Modlin Airport is getting two shiny new routes. Wizz Air will start flying direct to Varna, Bulgaria, three times a week — perfect for Black Sea beaches, summer heat, and doing absolutely nothing productive.
Also joining the lineup is Rimini, Italy, served four times weekly, which means gelato, Adriatic coastlines, and pretending you understand Italian menus after one Aperol Spritz.
Meanwhile, Kraków isn’t being left out. A new three-times-weekly route to Rhodes will connect southern Poland with one of Greece’s most popular islands — ideal for sun-seekers, history lovers, and anyone who thinks ancient ruins hit differently in 30-degree heat.

Affordable Flights, Beach-Ready Prices
Even better? One-way fares start from 109 PLN, which makes these routes feel less like a splurge and more like a very sensible life decision. Budget-friendly flights to beach destinations? Wizz Air knows its audience.
All routes will be operated using Airbus A321neo aircraft, which means better fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and less noise — good news for both passengers and the planet. You get to fly greener while heading somewhere sunny. Everyone wins.
Wizz Air’s Poland Love Affair Continues
With these additions, Wizz Air now operates a whopping 234 routes from Poland to 32 countries. Since launching operations in the country, the airline has already carried nearly 130 million passengers, which is… a lot of boarding passes.
Much of this growth is fuelled by Wizz Air’s expanding base at Warsaw Modlin, which officially opened in December 2025, plus a young, modern fleet with an average aircraft age of just over 4.5 years. Translation: newer planes, fewer excuses.
The Bigger Picture
According to Wizz Air, these new routes reflect its ongoing investment in the Polish market and its Customer First Compass strategy — focusing on low fares, flexibility, and a better overall travel experience.
But for travellers, the takeaway is much simpler: more beaches, more choice, and more reasons to start planning Summer 2026 now.
Because if Wizz Air is already thinking about next summer, you probably should be too.
