International Budva Tourist Carnival 2025 Is Coming – Time to Spread the Love (and maybe some glitter)
Dates: 30th April - 4th May 2025 in Budva Montenegro. Pack your feathers, sequins, and most outrageous dance moves – Budva is about to throw the party of the year. Under the gloriously feel-good slogan "Spread the Love," the 22nd International Budva Tourist Carnival 2025 is taking over this Montenegrin seaside gem – and it's going to be bigger, bolder, and more bedazzled than ever.
Locals and love-spreading visitors from across the globe are set to descend on Budva for a long weekend of pure joy. And we’re not talking about a quiet beach stroll. Oh no – we’re talking masked parades, DJs spinning under medieval stone arches, and enough dancing to qualify as cardio for the year.
It all kicks off with the iconic masked procession along the Budva Riviera – think Venice meets the Balkans, with better beach views. Then it’s game on: the squares of the Old Town transform into open-air dancefloors with live music from Montenegro, Serbia, the UK, and probably a guy with a tambourine who just really wants to jam.

Who’s performing? Last year it was about DJ Fikus, Bucotzar, Anna Wall (straight from London’s legendary Fabric), local legends Mixa the Dude and Radio Katakomba, and Balkan rap royalty Prti Bee Gee. This year is still a surpise.
Day two of the International Budva Tourist Carnival 2025 is all about the kids – cue the mini carnival parade where tiny humans in oversized costumes steal the show. There’ll be contests, games, and probably some parents crying happy tears as their toddler dressed as a glittery dragon waves at the crowd.
And just when you think you’ve seen it all... along comes the grand finale: the massive international parade. Picture dozens of costumed teams from all corners of Europe (and beyond), plus thousands of dancing feet and cheering voices. Basically, it’s like Mardi Gras got a passport and discovered cevapi.
