Most events are very mediocre and are more like a Tuesday afternoon at the DMV. Anime Festival Asia 2027 is very different. This is a 3 day festival filled to the brim with everything related to J-Pop. Tens of thousands of people go to the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Center and spend thousands on items, go to the concerts, and take hundreds of photos in their cosplay. It is brilliant.
What is Anime Festival Asia?
Anime Festival Asia is the largest celebration of Japanese pop culture across Southeast Asia. With peak attendance being over 100,000! It includes everything from Anime to gaming to idol performances and even a concert series called 'I Love Anisong'. Japanese music artists are added to perform live and the crowd goes wild. It has been running for almost 20 years and gets better every year! It is a must-see festival!

The I Love Anisong concerts are intense. Attendees sing every line of their favorite anime songs. The concert venue is full of mad fans. Imagine songs you and your buddies sing to exceess before an audience of a thousand anime fans. The atmosphere during the concerts is out of this world. The audience shows absolutely no signs of their enthusiasm. The concert is not a concert without the audience singing in a chorus along to their favorite anime songs.
