Anime Festival Asia 2028
Dates taking place: November 2028 (Dates TBA)
Location: Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre, Singapore
Let’s be honest. Usually, most events really come close to a Tuesday afternoon at the DMV. Well, Anime Festival Asia 2028 is not that event and really can’t be. 3 days of continuous, utter, beautiful mayhem of Japanese pop culture in the beautiful country of Singapore, where up to tens of thousands once again ready to spend their savings on anime figures, wreck their vocal cords on live concerts, and take about 400 pics in various stages of their cosplay. Truly brilliant.
What to Expect?
Anime Festival Asia has grown into Southeast Asia’s premier venue for hosting events relating to Japanese pop culture since its founding in 2008. For years, the event has attracted over 100,000 attendees. Imagine anime, gaming, cosplay, idol performances, and the I Love Anisong concert, where artists perform directly to the crowd. Thousands of Japanese music artists started performing live sets, that we still enjoy to this day. The growth is still evident to this day.

The Concert Scene Alone Is Worth the Flight
The I Love Anisong concert series is something special! These concerts feature some of Japan's top artists of songs for anime. The audience knows every lyric to every song. These concerts aren't background music. The audience is not shy singing their hearts out. The energy of every person in the audience is the same. They're there for anime songs. If you've never seen one thousand people sing the same anime closing or opening in unison, you're missing out! These concerts are one thousand percent worth a flight for AnimeNYC!
Cosplay So Good It Hurts
The level of anime and anime character cosplay level is beyond what is levels you would find in conventions, it is what you would talk about as God level. Once you go to one of these, the amount of anime cosplay and loveliness of their costumes is beyond God level. These events go all our with their cosplay level. These events pop with love for cosplay. These events go all out with their cosplay level, these events have major cosplay competitions, out of the love of cosplay and the level of love for these events, there are actually major meets and major level love with cosplay and meets for these.

Even passing something and thinking you need actually it is probably true. Merchandise is just that irresistible.
It Is for Everyone, Not Just Die-Hards
Honestly no one cares if you're just a fan of something. Pretty much every single person that you're surrounded by at this event is a fan, and likely quite a hardcore one, and you know what? They're some of the absolute best people to be with when you're curious about Japanese pop culture, and Anime in particular. Anime Festival Asia (AFA) 2028 is quite a huge event and has fun things happening almost all the time.
