Location: Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore
If you’ve ever needed a reason to put on a costume and swoop on out of the house as your favorite anime character, then grab your tickets to Singapore Comic Con 2028! Every December at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, this region’s #1 convention explodes with hues of pure joy as endless parents, artists, and fans descend on the explosive and chaotic show. Capes optional.
Inside the Area
Despite the enormous size, exhibitors, artists, and fans remain highly animated. Fun and courage meet outside of the gaming zones as competitors of all skill levels enter to prove themselves in the zones. They participate in a massive Toy Space filled with the best from all the studios. Art/ comic exchange and original sketches (and photos) from all the best artists., and that includes all the big comic houses and other outlets. You have everything from some of the best costume-dressing competitions on the globe (the Met Gala has nothing on this) to something as mild as an anime collaboration. You’re here for your kid? There’s more for you too!

Prepare For Chaos On Stage
You may have considered the the main stage of Singapore Comic Con just another stage, but it’s one of those “you love it when you didn’t expect it” loves. Past examples of Comic Cons have included lightsaber choreography battles that actually seem like the real Star Wars movies, tabletop RPG performances with real audience participation, idol competitions, fan meet-and-greets, and even one of the best legendary decisions in event history—a competitive fried rice eating contest. Yes. These are your kind of people now.
Hail the Artists
The most prominent aspect of Singapore Comic Con, when compared to other comic cons, is the attending artists. You are more likely to see famed artists of the comic universes like Marvel, DC, Capcom, and many more, and even see them participate in art commissions, interact with you as they sign, and talk to you like ordinary people. Most comic art lovers have dreamed to meet such people whose art they even have hanging on their walls. Besides, it’s as awesome as it sounds to have personalized sketches of comic art by your favorite artists.
Come For the Cosplay, Stay For Everything Else
The cosplay community at SGCC is practically dedicated to its craft. Top of the line costumes take upwards of years to complete. We have competitions, pictures being taken at every corner and the atmosphere is infectious. All are welcome to add to the celebration, and all are welcome to receive the applause, because truly, no one is judging.
For Travel Agents, DMCs, and Corporate Incentive Planners
Pairing a group trip to a convention taking place at Singapore ArtScience Museum during the month of December, is a great way to use the created program to sell Singapore. Cons attendees a get a world class pop culture event, attendees from around the world come to experience typical Singapore pop culture, and the world's easiest to work with venue. Singapore has the easiest deal you'll ever make, and your clients will personally thank you for the Corporate Fun. They will possibly thank you while dressed as a Pirate.
