Tet 2027 is the celebration of Lunar New Year which will usher in the Year of Ram. It’s a fresh start and a new beginning! The Vietnamese Lunar New Year is traditionally referred to as the “day that paints the whole town red” for its red color theme. The whole town is painted red, considered to be a sign of luck when you see this around you. However, it is much more than just another “new year” holiday.
However, this season brings families together from everywhere and builds communal harmony. People are excited and grateful for what lies ahead.
On Tet Eve (February 5th), people begin their seven-day celebrations, which will end on February 11th. This extended week-long holiday allows both locals and tourists to dive deep into the culture. Vietnam streets go from drab to fab; they become magical – it transcends its colours and becomes real. A touch of gold here, a splash of red there — before you know it you’re surrounded by good vibes! And let's not forget about flowers blooming everywhere you go; this festive spirit is contagious!
