After 15 years of being in business, the biggest bicycle festival in Slovakia is back in the Freeride Bikepark Kálnica from the 29th to the 31st of May 2026. Get ready for three days of hardcore riding and competitions. This event is bound to leave you with sore legs, a giant smile, and a great need to buy a new bike.
What Is BikeFest All About
Kálnica is just 10 kilometers from Nové Mesto nad Váhom. It is a short drive from Bratislava, Trenčín, and Žilina. Kálnica looks small on the map, but it is a large area that is great for an event. The Freeride Bikepark is an excellent venue. Kálnica BikeFest uses this park to its full potential. Each day of the event, you will be able to participate in 10 competitions in different disciplines. These include, but are not limited to, downhill, enduro, marathon, and slopestyle. For both the experienced racers and the people with a little bit of fear of downhill riding, you will be catered for in this event.

Finally, we can get really excited. BikeFest Kálnica 2026 is the first to offer Gold Level status, making it part of the inaugural Slopestyle Super League. Crankworx events are at this status. While the Kálnica is one of the pioneering events in the new elite global series, the Kálnica is among the world greatest. Slopestyle competitors are groundbreaking, and will no doubt be performing, with world class talent. You can grab a bratwurst, and watch at the same time while trying to be knowledgeable of a tailwhip.
Exhibition and Test Rides
BikeFest gets this. Not everyone is a competitor, and supposed enthusiasts will get their fill of test rides. The event will showcase over 300 bikes of varying categories. Mountain bikes, road bikes, gravel bikes, and even electric bikes. Use this opportunity to test out bikes in a manner that is almost entirely free. The exhibition zone will be so packed with bikes and gear that you may have to exercise some self control. There is even a kids zone, so family is inclusive at this event.
