Singapore Tennis Open 2026
Dates taking place: 21st - 27th September 2026
Location: OCBC Arena, Singapore
I get it. Tennis in Singapore in September? Sounds wild. But 2026 Singapore Tennis Open is going to deliver, and yes, we have air conditioning. This is not your grandad's tournament. OCBC Arena is an indoor arena that features a tennis hard court surface, which means tennis. World class tennis as opposed to puddles
Singapore Tennis Open 2026 just got a whole lot better. After running a WTA 250 event in 2025, Singapore Tennis Open is being upgraded to WTA 500 status in 2026. That means we are only one out of 18 WTA 500 tournaments in the entire world. That means only the greats of the greats in women’s tennis will be destroying dreams and busting eardrums, right here on Singapore soil. The players we are privileged to get competing are the players we see on Grand Slams and on the grass of Wimbledon, and have trophy cases full enough to fill their entire house.
What Makes This Tennis Tournament Different
This isn't just a tennis tournament, either. The OCBC Arena is going to be 100% electric with a competitive spirit as there are 28 singles players and 16 doubles teams. Golf and concerts are on the completely opposite ends of the spectrum with the potential for a concert with a golf atmosphere, but not in this case. We will be witnessing backhands that are out of this world and probably the next popped racket.
The most exciting thing about the Singapore Tennis Open 2026 is that you don't need to be a tennis enthusiast to enjoy the happening organizers promise and the fun things happening at the venue and the experience to come throughout the week. Say goodbye to the worries of knowing tennis rules; you can be a tennis novice and enjoy and have fun.

Family Fun Meets Professional Sport
This is a sporting event you can actually bring everyone to. Your tennis obsessed aunt? Check. Your kids who think exercise is opening the fridge? Your snack-loving friend? Everyone. They'll be entertained, the food scene at these events never disappoints, and everyone wins (except maybe the millionaires who don’t, but they'll be fine).
There is no substitute for the exquisiteness of live tennis, the sound of a serve whizzing by at 180km/h, or the gasps in the crowd when someone has an incredible get, or seeing the sweat and determination on the players' faces in a tiebreak. And don’t forget you can join in and yell, "Come on!" to feel like you're personally contributing to the result of the match!
