Singapore Tennis Open 2027
Dates taking place: September, 2027 (Dates TBA)
Location: OCBC Arena, Singapore
Imagine being in one of Asia's most advanced indoor arenas, riding the perfect AC, as some of the best tennis players in the world are smashing a fuzzy yellow ball at your terrifying driving instructor after the first hundred selfies to ooh and aah about your driving skills? Enter the Singapore Tennis Open 2027, the marriage of elite international sport with Singapore's unsurpassed exceptional management skills.
This is not just another run-of-the-mill tennis tournament. The event, having returned to the WTA Tour in 2025, and subsequently progressed to WTA 500 status in 2026, is not content with being merely good. In 2027, the event is set to be one of only eighteen WTA 500 tournaments globally. That is the tennis version of an exceptional event.
The Venue That Makes Sense
The OCBC Arena has an audience accommodation for 3000, so no more fuzzy players. Climate control artifacts. Indoors in the Singapore Sports Hub, with the Kallang Wave Mall nearby for urgent snack needs. Tropical Singapore's venues always have climate control, we hope.
This time we will not have the costly drama associated with outdoor matches. Having to deal with the weather. What we will finally have is consistence. High quality tennis. And revolutionary seating at some of the venues. Especially the spine. This allows you to have excellent vision at virtually any point.
