Acropolis Ancient Greek Tour

Acropolis Ancient Greek Tour

Howdy there time-travelers and culture vultures! Strap on your sandals and grab a wreath of laurels, because we’re about to take a trip through ancient Greece with MIgreeCE – the ultimate guide to everything epic and historical!

Here’s the scene: you’re at the base of the Acropolis, feeling like a puny mortal in front of ancient gods. Your guide (who’s basically Socrates with a selfie stick) takes you up the sacred hill while telling stories of gods and heroes.

At the top, the Parthenon stands before you like Zeus’ summer pad – but with fewer lightning bolts and more marble columns. Seriously, it’s so massive even the pigeons are impressed! And the view? Let’s just say Aphrodite would be jealous of what you can see from up here.

But wait, there’s more to this Acropolis Ancient Greek Tour! Your guide (who’s basically a stand-up philosopher in a toga) keeps things funny while dropping knowledge bombs left and right. There isn’t a dull moment on this tour; whether it’s scandalous gossip from ancient Athens or weird quirks from Greek mythology.

Next stop: The Acropolis Museum – aka ancient Greece’s Louvre. Here you’ll find more old stuff than you can shake a gyros at – from beautiful statues to ancient pottery that puts your grandmother’s china cabinet to shame. It’ll feel like stepping into an uproarious history lesson thanks to your guide's witty commentary!

But we don’t stop at fun. Oh no, MIgreeCE is just getting started! After your Acropolis adventure, why not dive into some authentic Greek cuisine? We’re talking souvlaki, moussaka, enough feta cheese to make Zeus himself say “opa!”

So, if you're ready to explore the wonders of ancient Greece with a side of laughs, book your tour with MIgreeCE today. Trust us, it's an adventure that'll leave you feeling like a modern-day Odysseus – minus the sea monsters and pesky Cyclops, of course!

Activities Athens

Welcome to the vibrant city of Athens, where history and modernism co-exist harmoniously. At MIgreeCE DMC Athenswe specialise in crafting unforgettable experiences that showcase the best of this ancient yet dynamic city.

The Acropolis is a good starting point. This is an inspiring place that represents ancient civilization. Our tours are custom made to take you to places such as Parthenon, Erechtheion etc which are normally shrouded in mystery hence going beyond what people already know about them. When darkness falls a special dinner at a nearby rooftop restaurant offers breathtaking views of the Acropolis lit up against the night sky – a perfect setting for a memorable meal. – it’s simply magical!

If you want something that will get your clients closer to Greek culture then look no further than our cooking classes held right at heart of this bustling metropolis; here they will learn how to prepare various traditional dishes before eating them all up within local kitchen ambience.

MIgreeCE DMC Athens have day trips going out every single day throughout summer season taking travellers directly onto nearby beauties like Aegina, Poros and Hydra among others but mind you there’re even options involving private yachts which make things much more exclusive.

For those who love adventure holidays we offer guided hiking tours covering many areas surrounding Athens but mainly focused around two main regions namely Mount Parnitha (where historic paths can be traced back) and Saronic Gulf (which has scenic trails). These routes guarantee stunning views.

For a taste of local life walking through Plaka, Monastiraki and Psiri is like walking into a different world altogether. These are some of the oldest neighborhoods in Athens where time has seemingly stood still which makes them quite charming indeed! During these walks clients get chance to explore narrow cobbled streets lined with traditional houses among other things before finally winding down at our favourite souvenir shop located nearby – here you’ll find unique items that can only be bought from such places hence making it perfect for those who want to take back home more than just memories alone.

MIgreeCE DMC Athens prides itself on providing authentic Athenian experiences so let us help you plan an itinerary that will make your clients’ stay worthwhile in every sense of the word!

Delta Air Lines is raising the bar for travel in 2025 by introducing new routes that are sure to take you from the busy energy of Atlanta, to the easy-going Austin, and the beautiful Salt Lake City. It is now time to pack your bags because the airlines are about to bring your dreams of going places with their planes (or even more crazy fun!)

Largest Ever Schedule from Atlanta

Prepare for this, and never lose your boarding pass because Delta is going on a rollicking venture in Atlanta! Come Summer 2025, the airline is planning to introduce its largest ever flight schedule that will comprise a staggering 1.1 million weekly seats, 968 daily operating flights and great connections to an impressive 215 destinations.

But hang on a second, there’s even better! In addition to this, you will not only be able to see a large number of the domestic flights waiting for you but it seems that Delta is on the fast track to develop its international flights as well. Be ready to fly to new cities such as Naples and Brussels and also increase the number of flights in some popular directions like: Rome, Zurich, Barcelona, Athens, Cancun, and Toronto.

Ha, it’s more like Delta International threw a global bash couldn’t help but invite all the best places in the world!

Atlanta’s Mayor, Andre Dickens, can’t hide his glee over all this expansion, saying that it only further supports the position of the city as one of the leading global business and cultural centers. Therefore, it is obvious why Delta is so crucial for the local market – because it’s a win-win; who doesn’t want more flights and fewer connections?

Highlights Exciting New Routes from Delta Airlines:

  • International Additions: New flights to Naples and Brussels—because you deserve pizza and waffles!

Expansions Elsewhere

Saving the best for last, wait. No, there is no Delta that has its wings intact. The carrier has also added five additional planes to the unique market of Austin, Texas, starting from March 2025. There is no more need to fly to portions of Seattle as you can now fly to Panama city, Florida under direct flight services offered every day –essentials for those hot days when the only requirement is to work on your tan!

Austin will also see a ramp up of nonstop services that will include Indianapolis, Memphis, San Francisco, and Tampa. With a jerky delight, Delta's Senior Vice President of Network Planning, Joe Esposito, is reporting that Delta’s footprint embraces Austin wholeheartedly. Their updated weather forecast for Texas is that the temperatures will increase by 20% in terms of seat capacity, which has been the case since April.

Highlights:
  • Austin’s New Routes: Daily nonstop flights to Panama City, plus new services to Indianapolis, Memphis, San Francisco, and Tampa. Pack your bags and get ready for an adventure!
  • Commitment to Growth: 20% increase in seat capacity since April. That’s more seats than a Texas BBQ on a Saturday night!
  • Texas Takeover: Delta is expanding its reach in the Lone Star State, and we’re here for it.

International Connections from Salt Lake City

And all of you Salt Lake City folks, June 12, 2025, for warning! Delta is starting a new route to Seoul-Incheon International Airport non stop, which brings many opportunities for the users of the South Korea-United States route. You'll probably be eating kimchi and drinking soju soon enough!

Ryanair Launches New Winter Routes 2024

Ryanair Launches New Winter Routes 2024: Milan Gets More, Bergamo Gets Less, and Michael O'Leary Wants Your Surcharges Gone!

Italy’s favourite airline (and let's be honest, probably its loudest) Ryanair has big plans for winter 2024! Like a chef tossing pizza dough into the air, Ryanair is launching 10 new routes from Milan Malpensa Airport, whisking travelers off to sun-drenched Fuerteventura, the ancient ruins of Athens, the festive squares of Budapest, and… wait for it… the winter wonders of Tallinn. Yes, Estonia! So, pack your thermals and sunscreen, because Ryanair’s got you covered—Mallorca to Marrakech and everywhere in between. The 10 new winter routes from Milan Malpensa Airport are to Athens, Budapest, Paris, Fuerteventura, Krakow, Mallorca, Marrakech, Reggio Calabria, Rzeszow, and Tallinn.

If that wasn’t enough to get you rummaging through your sock drawer for your passport, Ryanair is also parking its eighth aircraft at Milan Malpensa. This move is set to boost their traffic by 10%, meaning 4.5 million eager passengers will be zipping around the continent, experiencing new cultures and, of course, Ryanair’s infamous legroom.

Bergamo's Bye-Bye to Seats

But not all Italian airports are basking in Ryanair’s wintery glow. Over at Milan Bergamo, it’s not all spritz and sunshine. Ryanair has decided to trim down its fleet there from 24 to 20 aircraft, causing a 5% decline in seat capacity. Why, you ask? Because Ryanair is redirecting its attention to airports that are friendlier to their bottom line (hey, it’s a business, folks).

Trieste & Reggio Calabria: The New Italian Darlings

With a twinkle in his eye, Michael O’Leary, Ryanair’s Group CEO, made it clear why Bergamo’s loss is Trieste and Reggio Calabria’s gain: municipal surcharges, baby! Airports in Friuli Venezia Giulia and Calabria have waved goodbye to these pesky fees, opening the floodgates to cheaper flights and more tourists—Ryanair tourists, to be specific.

O'Leary was quick to advocate for nationwide surcharge abolition, promising that if Italy ditches these charges at all its airports, Ryanair would happily throw $4 billion into the Italian economy. That’s right, 40 new aircraft, 250 new routes, and a whopping 1,500 jobs! In O’Leary’s words, "More planes, more jobs, and, of course, more of those iconic Ryanair announcements that you can barely understand over the crackle of the speaker."

Ryanair Launches New Winter Routes 2024

So, whether you're dreaming of Krakow’s medieval charm, Parisian cafes, or Reggio Calabria's southern Italian sunshine, Ryanair is making sure your winter is full of budget-friendly jet-setting. Just make sure you avoid the municipal surcharge. After all, O'Leary’s on a mission to make Italy surcharge-free, one flight at a time!

American Airlines Expands Routes for Summer 2025

American Airlines Expands Routes for Summer 2025 - Get Ready for a European Adventure

Just as you’re cozying up with pumpkin spice lattes and oversized scarves, American Airlines is plotting something big for your summer 2025 travel plans. Forget raking leaves; it's time to plan your escape to Europe. AA is adding five brand-new routes to its European network, and trust us, you’ll want to pack your bags for these destinations: Edinburgh, Athens, Madrid, Milan, and Rome. Yes, that means more transatlantic flights to whisk you away to dreamy places where carbs don’t count, and the architecture is older than the internet.

Castles, Pasta, and Mythology – Oh My!

Let’s break it down: say you are joining the migratory or traveling population and you are flying out of Philadelphia (PHL), you can say you are the chosen one. The journey does not end there because apart from over 80 domestic points you get to connect, there are about 17 new routes across the Atlantic among them one to Edinburgh in Scotland. Get comfortable because if its currently winter where you are, very soon travellers will be exchanging their cheesesteaks for haggis (or not) as they roam around ancient castles wondering if they are secret beings of royalty.

Going to Italy? Well, it seems like American Airlines has got you covered as it recently introduced Miami (MIA) Rome (FCO) flights and PHL Milan (MXP) flights. By 2025, expect that American will roll out Italian destinations more than you have pasta recipes, making sure that summer leaves you, pizza, art and those dreamlike landscapes that give your instagram followers the worst of FOMO.

Charlotte to Athens anyone? The new route from Charlotte to Athens will get you to Acropolis country before you can utter civilization. And having four daily services to Greece by 2025, American is going to be the airline with the most knowledge on greek mythology.

Tapas, Sun, and Siestas: Chicago to Madrid

If using Atlanta to reach Spain is not your style, then there's nothing to be worried about. The American hub (ORD) located in Chicago is joining the fray emerging from the mumbai heat with its new route to Madrid. Now you can cross the ocean and find yourself in the land of Flamenco and Sangria and Spanish siestas. Should you decide to fly out of Madrid, the American airline’s hubs will allow you to navigate around Europe, Africa and the Middle East for those who want to travel but don’t want to commit.

More Flights, More Fun

If for whatever reason summer 2025 currently lacks plans for lounging with a cocktail in a beach club somewhere in Europe, American Airlines is going all in with over 70 departures per day to more than 20 transatlantic destinations. They will also be working on popular Kosharov routes such as CPH, NAP and NCE after supporting summer 2024, because more time in the land of Danish pastries, Neapolitan Pizzas and French Riviera never hurts anyone.

Ladies and Gentlemen, for the romantics, American’s winter service to Paris from Miami is sticking around for the summer season even. “Great,” said nobody, because now you can plan that picture-perfect Eiffel Tower moment during summer as well.

Bonus: Expanding Premium Offerings to Asia

Oh, and if Europe isn’t enough for you, American is also pumping up its routes to Asia for summer 2025. Bigger planes will connect Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Los Angeles (LAX) to Japan, making sure you’ve got plenty of space to stretch out and dream about sushi as you head to Tokyo and beyond. With easy connections to over 30 destinations across Japan and East Asia, your passport is about to get a serious workout.

American Airlines Expands Routes for Summer 2025

So, what are you waiting for? Summer 2025 is practically begging you to take a European (or Asian) adventure, and American Airlines is making sure you get there with style, convenience, and probably more than one in-flight snack.

United Airlines launches Athens Route

And hold onto your hats because United is also adding some cool routes to Alaska and Canada. They're going big with 150 daily flights to Canada from all seven of their U.S. hubs. Plus, they're shouting about their "largest schedule to Alaska in the past decade." Go big or go home, right?

From May 23rd, you can catch daily seasonal flights between Washington Dulles International Airport and Stevens Anchorage International Airport (alaska). They're even revving up the engines for daily seasonal flights from Washington Dulles International Airport to Vancouver International Airport from May 2nd.

But wait, there's more! United is spreading the love to Denver International Airport too. Starting from May 23rd, you can jet off to Fairbanks, Alaska, every day. And guess what? They're bringing back the year-round service between Denver and Winnipeg Richardson International Airport, starting the same day. It's like a double whammy of good news!

Oh, and don't forget about those other sweet summer connections. United is rekindling the flame with Chicago O’Hare to Winnipeg and Quebec City, as well as launching a new route between Newark and Halifax on May 23rd.

And last but not least, Houston Intercontinental is back in the game with service to Ontario, California, from May. It's like the comeback tour of the century!

Malta's Universal Airlines launches New Flights

Malta's Universal Airlines launches New Flights -

Exciting news from Universal Air! They're spreading their wings from their home base in Malta to even more destinations, on top of their already buzzing routes from Pecs, Hungary.

So, where can you jet off to now? Well, get ready to tick off some dreamy spots from your travel bucket list:

  • Athens (get ready for a weekly dose from May 6, ramping up to twice a week from May 27)
  • Kerkyra (that's Corfu, for those in the know, with thrice-weekly flights starting June 1)
  • Ibiza (twice-weekly parties in paradise, launching May 31)
  • Palermo International (thrice-weekly jaunts starting May 1)
  • Munich (twice weekly)
  • Pecs, Hungary (twice weekly)

More destinations are to be added later this year. The starting price for a one-way ticket to Ibiza will be around €80. And guess what? You'll be soaring through the skies in style aboard their comfy DHC-8-Q400s.

Malta's Universal Airlines launches New Flights

Malta based CEO Simon Cook spilled the beans to the Times of Malta, sharing that despite the fierce competition, Universal Air is feeling pretty confident about their game plan. They're all about that sweet spot - not quite budget, but definitely not breaking the bank like the big legacy airlines. Simon mentioned their nifty Dash 8s, which not only keep costs down but can handle those less-traveled routes like a breeze.

Now, here's a fun fact: Universal Air isn't just about scheduled flights anymore. Nope, they're diving into the world of charters too. Starting March 26, they'll be whisking folks away from Pecs to both Malta and Munich twice a week. And get this, they're the only ones doing scheduled flights from that part of Hungary!

Speaking of planes, they've got their hands on a shiny new DHC-8-Q400, with two more on the horizon. These beauties are taking over from their older fleet, giving them that fresh new plane smell and a boost in efficiency. Simon mentioned that while their charter business was cruising along nicely, it was time for an upgrade. So, they took the leap to keep things fresh and exciting for their passengers.

And fear not, charter fans! Universal Air isn't leaving you high and dry. They're still keeping those flights coming alongside their new scheduled services.
