Finnair Expands in 2026

Finnair Expands in 2026: New Destinations, Lapland Magic, and Enough Routes to Make Your Google Maps Sweat  Finnair just announced its 2026 plans, and let’s just say… they did not come to play. They came to expand, explore, and sprinkle direct flights across Europe like confetti at a Scandinavian birthday party. With 12 brand-new European destinations and a glorious return of direct flights to Finnish Lapland from multiple major cities, Finnair is clearly in its “world domination, but make it polite” era. A Helsinki Summer That’s Basically a Flight Buffet From its Helsinki hub, Finnair will be rolling out a fresh batch of summer routes — and honestly, it’s starting to feel like they’re speedrunning a European bucket list: Kuressaare (Estonia) – For travellers who enjoy nature, culture, and the tiny thrill of saying “Kuressaare” correctly. Luxembourg – Small country, big personality. Stavanger (Norway) – Where business travellers and fjords coexist peacefully. Thessaloniki (Greece) – Northern Greece’s gateway to island hopping and tzatziki-fueled joy. Tirana (Albania) – Finnair’s first-ever stop in Albania. About time someone introduced the world to Albanian summer properly. Turin (Italy) – Perfect if you love skiing, chocolate, or pretending you’re in an Italian film. Umeå (Sweden) – Artsy, outdoorsy, and very, very Swedish. These join earlier announcements including Alta, Catania, Florence, Kos, and Valencia — because Finnair clearly wants your 2026 to be one big European holiday montage. If you need help with your next event, incentive, meeting, conference or group to Italy, please contact us! Sweden Gets Even More Finnair Finnair is beefing up its presence in Sweden too. At Stockholm Arlanda, they’re adding Stavanger (yes, Norway sneaking in again), and at Umeå, they’re launching flights to both Vasa and Helsinki. At this point, Sweden might as well adopt Finnair as its unofficial extra airline. The Big Picture: 93 European Destinations and Counting With all these additions, Finnair’s 2026 network will include: 93 destinations in E…

easyJet Goes Big in Morocco and Greece

easyJet Goes Big in Morocco and Greece: New Bases, New Routes, and a Whole Lot of Orange  If easyJet were a person, it’d be that overachiever who can’t stop adding things to their to-do list — except instead of hobbies, it’s airports. The low-cost legend has just dropped some major news: it’s opening its first-ever African base in Marrakech in spring 2026, while also expanding its sunny Greek network. Basically, easyJet’s passport pages are running out of space. Marrakech: easyJet’s African Makeover Starting spring 2026, Marrakech Menara Airport is getting a bright orange upgrade as easyJet sets up its 36th base worldwide — and its first on African soil. The airline will park three aircraft in the city (because one would just be too modest) and create around 100 direct jobs, plus thousands of indirect ones. Translation: if you’ve ever dreamed of working in aviation and owning way too many orange high-visibility vests, now’s your chance. The airline’s Moroccan makeover also means a whopping 4 million seats will be available in the first year. That’s a lot of sunshine seekers heading south — and even more competition for that perfect Marrakech Instagram shot. If you need help with your next event, incentive, meeting, conference or group to Marrakech, please contact us! Four New Routes, Countless Souvenirs As part of its grand plan, easyJet is launching four new routes for summer 2026. From Hamburg, Lille, and Strasbourg to Marrakech, and a brand-new Geneva–Tangier service, there’s now no excuse for not escaping the drizzle. All flights will run twice weekly, perfect for spontaneous city breaks or those long weekends where you “accidentally” forget to return to work on Monday. These new routes bring easyJet’s Moroccan network to 46 connections, spanning five airports: Marrakech, Agadir, Rabat, Essaouira, and Tangier. The airline is now officially #2 in Marrakech and #3 in Morocco, which, let’s be honest, is still pretty impressive for a brand that started out flying between Luton and Glasgow. Greek Expansion: Opa! More Flights to Thessaloniki And beca…
