For us it is important that we and our DMCs expand their horizon and possibilities of people and the planet.

Sustainability Projects

Our DMCs are focused on promoting sustainability by putting into place measures that are beneficial to the people and the environment. By harmonising the triad of social, economic and environmental issues, we hope to make positive impacts that are transformational.

Community Resilience and Development

We are convinced that difference is made by addressing issues relating to communities, hence we undertake projects that foster such communities aimed at reducing their vulnerability.

Our DMCs provide and sustain livelihoods and encourage education and social development for present and future communities. Such initiatives aid people in becoming self-reliant while paving the way for a self-sustaining future.

Women’s Empowerment for Sustainable Growth

Women are integral to achieving the goals of both global economy and society. We and our DMCs work in unison in supporting women´s causes through education and skills provision and access to income generation opportunities. This makes it possible for women to stand up and take active roles in building resilient and equitable societies.

Environmental Protection and Circular Waste Management

The protection of the environment is central to the sustainability we envision. The DMCs of Body and Soul have a clear waste management strategy in line with the “top 3 R's” principles, reduce-reuse-recycle in an effort to protect the environment. We strive to build awareness and make activities consistent with the principles of sustainability in everyday life through education, clean-up activities, and conservation activities.

We all have responsibilities and work together on behalf of a healthy planet, whether it’s about waste reduction or conservation of the ecosystems.

Collective Action for Sustainability Goals
To achieve sustainability, all efforts must be integrated and well coordinated. Our DMCs work hand in hand with the society, with the government, and even with the global community to find solutions that are practical. We then pursue practices that have tangible benefits for the environment and society by leveraging knowledge, finance and technology.

We consider the promotion of accountability and the quantification of performance as necessary in ascertaining action taken, so as to ensure that each and every initiative taken is necessary and useful in achieving sustainability.
