Etihad Resumes Nairobi Flights in December

Etihad Airways, UAE flag carrier announced that non-stop flights between Abu Dhabi and Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi will be resumed on December 15th this year; the airline will be flying to Nairobi once again. This route will operate four times weekly thereby bringing about a well-timed connection between these two cities.

Key Highlights Etihad Resumes Nairobi Flights in December:

Route Resumption:

Service Resumption Date: Resume date is on December 15th after being interrupted due to the pandemic earlier this year.

Frequency: This frequency of four times per week provides frequent access between Abu Dhabi and Nairobi for travelers who may also need a reliable means of transport.

Appreciation and Collaboration:

Gratitude: Etihad Airways expressed its appreciation to its Kenyan counterparts as well UEA authorities who made it possible for them to bring back their important route. In addition, they thanked customers for their endurance during the period of grounding.

Strategic Importance:

Nairobi as a Gateway: This follows an interline agreement reached earlier involving Emirates and Kenya Airways indicating how Nairobi is strategically placed as one of the major gateways into the region.

While Etihad Airways enhances its network by returning flights to Nairobi it also reasserts itself when it comes to facilitating UAE-Africa connectivity with African’s leading hubs. It promotes commercial relationships as well as cultural bonds that facilitate not just travel but doing business across those two regions easily.
