All about NoMad
Did you hear about NoMad in New York. Did you know that NoMad is now the hottest neighborhood for upscale hotels?
Up-and-coming NoMad used to be an area filled with rather boring stores along Broadway. Easy to forget. But now, dusted off and rebranded, NoMad has become the hottest neighborhood for upscale hotels, trendy bars, restaurants, art events, live performances, fashionable shops and lounges. It is a mix of historic charm and contemporary style buildings. You do find some beautiful Beaux-Arts buildings here and luxury condos. It is a vibrant area and very conveniently located. It also calms down a bit during the weekend, so a great place to visit.

NoMad is an acronym for "North of Madison Square Park". It is located from 23rd street to 30th street, right between 7th Ave and Madison Ave in Manhattan. NoMad is also home to several famous landmarks, including the Flatiron Building, a triangular-shaped skyscraper, see picture above. The building is one of New York's oldest surviving skyscrapers in the Beaux-Arts style.
