DMC Egypt - our commitment to sustainability practices

Excel Travel have adhered to more than 100 practices with Travelife. Here are some of them:

1. Communicated with a NGO ( Non-governmental organizations seeking no profit ), called APE ( Association for Protection of the Environment ) where we had sponsored the woman empowering projects (buying knitting machine to produce handcrafted local productions)
2. We have supported the recycling projects of paper and clothes, and other garbage collected substances, where many garbage collectors families are working in, with the APE.
3. As part of our CSR, activities, we present treeing & Planting courses for employees, to plant the surrounding environment to decrease carbon rates all around.
4. We recruit employees with disability and we encourage them to perform and develop their skills up to the optimum productivity as per their ability.
5. We use recycled paper for our printing and some marketing materials, though our marketing campaigns are mainly online.

We use surface transportation instead of planes, if possible, we walk instead of ride for distances  We promote award winning city (Sahl Hashish ) as an important sea shore and  marine non- polluted area.

Activities

We arrange tours to the garbage collectors district.

This community is responsible for recycling the garbage items – through handcrafting activities, to another local, high quality production.

We donate money to them through the APE.
