From the most famous such as Cannes film festivals, to lesser known but just as important, village fairs, there is always something on the calendar. Most of the events combine elements of culture, music, and cuisine in such a way that one can sample the specialties of different regions.

One such event which takes place on the 14th of July, known as the Bastille Day, definitely stands out. Throughout France there are multiple fireworks, parades and festivities to attend.

On every 21st of June, for the observance of Fête de la Musique, music fills all the corners of France and even outside its borders. Beaujolais Nouveau Day

France’s Beaujolais Nouveau Day is celebrated on the third Thursday of November every year to commemorate the release of the first wine of the year. In towns and villages in the regione Beaujolais and wine shops and restaurant throughout the country, the young, fruity red is poured and people are invited to come and taste. It is a cheerful occasion that helps in uniting the people to consume the fresh harvest that comes along with good food, music and celebrations.
