Istanbul Tulip Festival
Every year in the month of April, the celebrations of the Tulip Festival, which emphasizes on the historical relationship of the city to the tulip flower comes out in full blossom. The people of the Recital, ever remembered the beauty of the red, yellow and pink tulips in the parks, gardens and throughout the city. Emirgan Park is a greeny part of the city busy with people wishing to celebrate the festival and watch picturesque spring flowers in Istanbul.
Eid al-Fitr
Ending the month of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr is a significant festival especially within the city of Istanbul, uniting families as well as the community. The city is filled with meals, prayers, and charity and people celebrate by giving each other presents and feasting together. Places of worship like the Blue Mosque are teeming with large crowds during this duration and so is the holiday atmosphere in the street and market centers. It is the period that people tend to go about their religious activities and also socialize more.
