Eid al-Adha Celebrations In Lebanon

In Lebanon, Eid al-Adha is celebrated in a spirit of solidarity and hospitality owing to the fact that the country is characterized by cultural and religious diversity. Eid al-Adha, which usually takes place in the summer months, is a time when extended families gather to pray, eat festive foods and observe an act of charity. Eid al-Adha, known as the "Festival of Sacrifice," is celebrated with feasting and feeding the hungry, and on such occasions, many Lebanese households prepare lamb, kibbeh, sweets and many more. In all its forms, the holiday is a true demonstration of Lebanon's compassion and togetherness, where diverse groups of people join hands to celebrate both leisure and respect for traditions.
