Events in Morocco

Vibrant culture and rich traditions are the heart of Morocco. The events that take place here are a combination of historical significance and modern day celebration. Islam, local folklore and change in weather patterns greatly influence many festivals.

From lively music festivals featuring traditional Moroccan rhythms, colorful street parades and craft fairs; to photographic safaris among the Berber people in the Atlas Mountains or exploring ancient Medina cities on foot – there is something for all tastes. One standout attraction is the Marrakech Popular Arts Festival which brings together various folk dancers and musicians.

Also important among Moroccans is Ramadan, one of the sacred months in Islam that comes with communal prayers, feasts and family gatherings as well as Eid al-Fitr festivities.

It is hard to choose which events we should publish. We are trying to include all the main ones, but if you would like to see another event added, please let us know at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

We add events on a continuous basis. So if you want to stay informed of the latest information, please bookmark this page.
