Afrofuture 2025 - A Cultural Extravaganza in Ghana
Afrofuture 2025 is a lively, pompous festivity of Africa's diverse culture and its innovative spirit as shown through the works of creative minds and entrepreneurs. There are art, fashion installations, live painting, African cuisine at its best and electrifying live performances for eight days during the festival. It is primarily intended to bring to the fore thriving talents of millennials from across Africa while ensuring that participants get authentic cultural experiences.
Activities and Itinerary - Afrofuture 2025
A welcome reception will take place at Accra’s airport on December 27th signaling the beginning of this festival after which there will be an orientation session. The attendees will also receive Ghanaian customs, language and traditions orientation. Other activities include visits to landmarks like The W.E.B Du Bois Centre and Kwame Nkrumah Museum, Cape Coast and Elmina slave dungeons tours as well as local market trips Cultural centers’ excursions among other numerous activities set ahead.
On New Year's Eve Oasis Beach Resort has one of them featuring fireside storytelling by traditional drumming dancers and fireworks show. Furthermore, it entails naming ceremony where participants receive traditional Ghanaian names signifying their spiritual connection into the society.
Cultural Immersion
This event is a deep exploration into Ghanaian culture called Afrofuture 2025. Participants will have an opportunity to engage with local artisans at Osu Beads Making Ladies workshop; explore Makola Market busy with activity as well as enjoy curated African cuisine. In addition, the festival underscores community engagement through voluntary activities in order to ensure an all-rounded cultural immersion.
