Kayaking on the Nemunas River

Kayaking on the Nemunas River If someone tells you that kayaking on the Nemunas River is just “a gentle paddle through scenic landscapes,” they are either lying or have no sense of humor. Yes, the river winds lazily through forests, fields, and quaint little towns, and yes, the views are postcard-perfect. But there’s also the small chance of splashing yourself, bumping into a curious duck, or questioning whether you’ve remembered how to kayak at all. And honestly? That’s part of the fun. Step One: Don’t Fall In (Too Soon) At the launch point, you will be handed a life jacket and given a short speech about how to butter your paddle and to not fall out. In your head you think, 'I should have totally practiced beforehand.' But somehow, you start kayaking, the water is perfectly calm, the ducks have stopped looking at you and life is now 10 times better. If you need help with your next event, incentive, meeting, conference or group to Lithuania, please contact us! The View (Lets Be Honest, You'll Actually Notice Once the initial anxiety starts to wear off, it will hit you like a brick wall that the Nemunas River is going to be a blast. The sunlight shines over the rive…

The Lost Shtetl Museum in Lithuania A Moving Journey Through Jewish History

The Lost Shtetl Museum in Lithuania A Moving Journey Through Jewish History If you’ve ever wished history came with a “rewind” button, Lithuania has just unveiled the closest thing you’ll get: the Lost Shtetl Museum — a beautifully crafted, deeply moving reconstruction of a Jewish town erased during the Second World War. It’s heartfelt, immersive, and absolutely enormous: a full 3,000-square-meter complex, now officially the largest museum of its kind in the Baltics. This isn’t your standard “look at some old objects in a glass case” experience. It’s a full-scale effort to bring back the world of the shtetls — the small Jewish towns where communities thrived until 1941. One of those towns was Šeduva, once home to around 700 Jewish residents. By August 1941, its community had been destroyed, with only a few surviving thanks to escape or the courage of local Lithuanian families who sheltered them. A Museum Born from One Family’s Search for Its Roots The Lost Shtetl project began in a surprisingly humble way: with a descendant of a Šeduva Jewish family tracing their roots. That journey, supported by writer Sergejus Kanovičius, the Switzerland-based FSU Education Associa…

Medieval Feasting in Lithuania

Medieval Feasting in Lithuania: Eat Like a King, Party Like a Peasant If you think dinner is just about eating, then buckle up (or rather, belt on your tunic) because Lithuania is about to blow your medieval mind. Picture this: long wooden tables piled high with roasted meats, goblets of mead flowing freely, and you, dressed like a knight or a medieval noble, shouting “Huzzah!” at the top of your lungs. Yes, welcome to the medieval feast—a time-traveling dining experience that’s all about indulgence, laughter, and just a hint of chaos. Need assistance with groups and incentives in Lithuania? Contact us for your custimised itinerary. Step into the Past (Costumes Mandatory, Dignity Optional) The fun starts as soon as you enter the grand hall—a stone-walled, candlelit haven that looks like it was ripped straight out of a “Game of Thrones” set, minus the political scheming (hopefully). Before you can even say “Where’s the Wi-Fi?” someone will hand you a medieval outfit because, in Lithuania, your modern clothes simply won’t do. Expect tunics, hats with feathers, and a whole lot of photo ops where you’ll either look like royalty or the court jester…

airBaltic Expands Summer 2026 Schedule

airBaltic Expands Summer 2026 Schedule Get ready, travel lovers — airBaltic is once again proving that the sky’s the limit. While other airlines are trimming routes faster than you can say “budget cuts,” Latvia’s national carrier is doing the opposite — adding new destinations, more flights, and a touch of Baltic flair to your 2026 summer plans. Riga, it seems, is ready to be Europe’s next connection hub — and airBaltic is the one handing out the boarding passes. New Routes, Who This? airBaltic’s summer 2026 schedule is looking more like a European bucket list than a flight roster. The airline is introducing new routes to Kaunas (Lithuania), Oulu (Finland), and Antalya (Turkey) — the latter graduating from a mere charter service to a full-fledged, scheduled route. So, if you’ve been dreaming of swapping your office chair for a Turkish sun lounger, this is your sign. But that’s not all. airBaltic is also relaunching flights to some fan-favourite cities: Aberdeen, Belgrade, and Yerevan are back on the map — literally. It’s like the reunion tour you didn’t know you needed, just with more in-flight snacks and fewer encore requests. If you need help with your next event, incentive…

Norwegian adds new routes from Norway

Norwegian adds new routes from Norway Norwegian clearly wants your summer holiday plans to look a little less “staycation in the rain” and a little more “Mediterranean sunshine, Baltic charm, and cocktails on the beach.” Starting next summer, the airline is rolling out four fresh routes from Oslo and Bergen, boosting its network to more than 120 destinations. Oslo Goes Sunny From Oslo, you’ll soon be able to fly straight to Tangier, Morocco (weekly on Mondays from June 22). Perfect for those who like their Mondays with a side of mint tea and souks instead of spreadsheets. Also on the menu: Palermo, Sicily (twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays from June 20). Expect pizza, gelato, and more church bells than your ears can handle. If you need help with your next event, incentive, meeting, conference or group to Morocco, please contact us! Bergen Goes Baltic Not to be left out, Bergen’s getting its own new toys. Starting March 31, you’ll have twice-weekly flights to Riga, Latvia and Palanga, Lithuania (Tuesdays and Saturdays, running through October). That means more medieval Old Town strolls, sandy Baltic beaches, and perhaps a little too much smoked fish. Why It Matters N…

airBaltic adds nine new Routes 2026 If you thought airBaltic was going to sit back and sip an Aperol Spritz this summer, think again. From late March to late October, airBaltic wants to be your one-stop shop for summer escapism. Riga: The Launchpad of Dreams The Latvian capital is already a solid gateway, but now it’s getting even busier. New connections from Riga will include Kaunas Lithuania, Oulu Finland, and Antalya Turkey (hello, beach loungers). Wizz Air Expands in Poland Wizz Air has decided that Poland needs way more direct flights to awesome places—and honestly, we agree. The ultra-low-cost airline is doubling down with two shiny new Airbus A321neos (cue the new-plane smell), one each for Kraków and Katowice, and they’re not just there to sit around looking pretty. Nope, they’re bringing ten new routes with them. That’s right—ten. As in: your “where should we go next?” list just got ten answers longer. Kraków’s Getting Continental Kraków’s turning into a proper European hub, and the new additions are all about mixing culture, scenery, and maybe a cheeky glass of wine or three. Only instead of arguing over who used the last teabag, they’re busy connecting passengers from the Baltics to the Caucasus, Central Asia, and beyond. Need assistance with groups and incentives in Azerbaijan? Contact us!
