Kayaking on the Drina River

Kayaking on the Drina River Equal Parts Adventure and “Wait, Are We Good at This?” Kayaking on the Drina River starts out feeling like a calm, scenic idea. You picture gentle paddling, maybe a bit of quiet reflection, definitely some impressive photos. And to be fair… that does happen. But there’s also the part where you realize steering is a skill. And that water, while beautiful, does not always cooperate with your plans. Still, that’s exactly what makes it fun. First Impressions: This Is Actually Stunning The Drina River runs along the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, and it looks almost unreal. Clear, turquoise water. Forested hills on either side. The kind of scenery that makes you pause mid-paddle just to take it in. It’s peaceful — until someone drifts slightly off course and the group dynamic kicks in. If you need help with your next event, incentive, meeting, conference or group to Serbia, please contact us! Learning As You Go (Very Much As You Go) You don’t need to be an expert kayaker. In fact, it’s probably better if you’re not. Most trips start with a quick introduction that feels reassuring at the time and slightly optimistic once you’…

A forewarning, there will be no “chugging it down” in this class – that is where we will begin. You can find many interesting varieties of rakija such as plum, and quince, as well as the strong walnut variety. Each sip has a narrative - clearly which reveals ancestral customs, family history, and even that one…
