Recently, participants joined 2xceed for a rewarding day of environmental action and team bonding through Organic Farming for Climate Action in Fujairah. Set amidst the peaceful surroundings of a growing organic farm, the activity provided an opportunity to contribute to climate change mitigation while enjoying nature and learning about sustainable practices. The day began with a calming energizer and meditation session, helping participants connect with nature and prepare for the meaningful tasks ahead. Following this peaceful start, teams rolled up their sleeves for tree planting, adding carbon-offsetting trees around the farm to support its growth and environmental impact. This hands-on effort allowed everyone to make a direct contribution to the planet's health. Next, participants engaged in a creative planting activity, carefully planting seeds in small clay pots. This interactive session offered not only a chance to learn about plant care but also a memorable keepsake to continue nurturing beyond the event. The experience deepened the understanding of Organic Farming for Climate Action in Fujairah and permaculture, sparking conversations about sustainable agriculture. The momentum continued as teams assisted with the farm's daily routines, gaining firsthand experience in the hard work and dedication required to maintain an organic farm. Participants also explored the science behind sustainability with engaging water filtration and soil experiments, offering insights into essential environmental processes. To round off the day, everyone gathered for a relaxing picnic lunch, sharing stories and reflecting on the positive impact they had made together. With its exceptionally pristine beaches, the United Arab Emirates manages to attract numerous tourists and locals to its shores. However, this also leads to increasing amounts of waste being deposited on our beaches during the summers, with more people showing up. The heat causes plastic waste to become brittle, leading to small waste pieces which are harder to get rid of and are extremely harmful to marine ecosystems. A Greener Beach for a Greener Company Project is essential to preserving the beauty and health of these natural spaces. In response to the increasing amount of waste and pollution, 2xceed would like to invite you and your team to a beach cleanup that would help out not only our environment but also reduce the amount of harmful waste that gets thrown into our oceans. This is an extremely rare opportunity as we currently have chance to turn this problem into a solution that would positively impact the future. The course starts off with participants getting a refreshing drink along with an interesting introduction followed by a discussion concerning ideal environmental practices. In this way, the participants will be able to come together and undertake a meaningful clean up of the beach by cleaning the sand and the sea of some harmful waste. However, together with Eedama, 2xceed brings another dimension by adding fun elements and upcycling activities to the mix. Games are used to reimagine the trash that has been gathered during the clean-up and promote eco-friendly, inventive thinking. Participants can sit back and enjoy a picnicking lunch after the uplifting work they have done towards saving the environment.
