The slightly smaller Pyramid of the Moon, situated across from the Pyramid of the Sun, also provides an equally awe-inspiring view. It matched Cerro Gordo, Mexico’s sacred mountain, thereby serving as an epicenter for all ceremonial activities occurring in Teotihuacan.
