During this amazing Tour of the Falls we offer the opportunity to weave in all the elements that create the authentic African Explorer, whilst providing an educational insight into some of the history and background to perhaps Africa’s most revered explorer on an expedition to one of the most memorable and spectacular sights in the world - Mosi Oa Tunya, “The Smoke That Thunders”.
The grandeur of the Victoria Falls is unsurpassed anywhere in the World. One channel of the great Zambezi River flows over the world’s largest curtain of falling water known as Victoria Falls.
Along with a professional guide, discover the Mosi-oa-Tunya ‘Smoke that Thunders’. Learn a little about the history and geology of this spectacle and meander through the rain forest, drenched in the mist of the Falls. Let nature’s power and magnitude still your mind as you stand and comprehend the majesty of Victoria Falls.
You will undoubtedly enjoy ‘Scenes so lovely that must have been gazed upon by Angels in their flight’ whilst gaining an insight into the historical and geological significance of the Falls.
Depending on the overall size of groups, they will be split up into smaller sub groups and each of these will be assigned a guide who has an in-depth knowledge of Victoria Falls.
During the months of February to June the volume of water pouring over the lip of the falls is extremely high, creating a large amount of mist. Expect to get wet!
End the day with a spectacular sunset cruise on the African Princess.
