This fabulous dinner at the Spice Market in Istanbul is a terrific way to be right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Istanbul life. Served smack bang in the middle of the ancient spice market, surrounded by the sounds and smells of this ancient bazaar. What an amazing way to be part of life in Istanbul, whilst stepping back in time to enjoy this special dinner set in one of the oldest covered bazaars in Istanbul.

Of course before dinner there will be time for some old-fashioned Ottoman Style Shopping at the Grand Bazaar & Spice Market

Spice Market; İstanbul’s oldest roofed markets, the Spice Bazaar in Eminönü is located behind the Yeni Mosque and adjacent to the flower market, which was made by Sultan Turhan and put up by architect Kazim Aga. After its renovation between 1940-1943 by Istanbul Municipality, it has witnessed a revival. The market is open everyday except on Sundays and sells herbs as well as spices, a range of natural medications, plant and flower seeds

GRAND BAZAAR ; Shopping experience of a lifetime: the construction started in the 15th century, right after the conquest of Istanbul by Sultan Mehmet, and galleries were added during the years to form today's labyrinth of shops, grouped in streets according to the trade. Silver, jeweller, leather goods, carpets, antiques, copper, even furniture make the Bazaar even today a major shopping center for natives and tourists.
