Skip the Reindeer, Hop on a Plane
No sleigh rides required—just book your seat on SAS! Flights run on Thursdays and Sundays, with an extra Saturday option during the holiday season because nothing says Christmas like a giant block of ice (read: the Icehotel).

- Ice sculptures that’ll make you question every sandcastle you ever built.

And for international travelers? Copenhagen just became your new Arctic gateway. Say goodbye to 12-hour layovers and hello to a seamless path to Lapland magic.
The Arctic Boom Is Real
SAS isn’t just dabbling in Arctic tourism—they’re doubling down. With the success of this route already locked in (before the first plane even takes off!), SAS has committed to running it again for the 2025/2026 winter season. That’s great news for:
- Local businesses who sell the coziest wool socks.
- Tourists chasing their “I-slept-in-an-igloo” bragging rights.
