Avelo Airlines opens operations in Las Vegas

September 7, 2023 - News Las Vegas - Avelo Airlines has set up its sixth US base at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas (LAS).

Flight prices begin at $39. The company intends to offer affordable, convenient and reliable national air travel services with this being its second base on the West Coast.

“For as they say ‘Whatever happens in Vega, may only happen in Vega’ and that is why it is our sixth place of choice,” said Andrew Levy — Chairman and CEO of Avelo Airlines.

Avelo will be the sole airline providing direct flights between LAS and these six cities:

Bend / Redmond, Ore. (RDM) — The first flight is today, September 7, 2023, with twice weekly service on Thursdays and Sundays.

Sonoma / Santa Rosa, Calif. (STS) — Starting September 8, 2023, Avelo will double the flight frequency of service on this route to four days per week (Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays).

Brownsville, Texas (BRO) — The first flight is tomorrow, September 8, 2023, with twice weekly service on Mondays and Fridays.

Eureka / Arcata, Calif. (ACV) — The first flight is tomorrow; September 8th ,2023 with twice weekly service on Mondays and Fridays

Dubuque,Iowa(DBQ)— From next week Tuesday; September13th ,2023Twice a week i.e Wednesday & Saturday

Portland / Salem,Ore.(SLE)— First trip ever October5th ,2023 Twice every week i.e Thursday &Sunday

Las Vegas has become part of five other locations already operated by Avelo airlines which are Hollywood Burbank Airport in Los Angeles(BUR); Orlando InternationalAirport(MCO); Wilmington Airport in Philadelphia/Delaware Valley(ILG);Raleigh- Durham International Airport (RDU) and Tweed-New Haven Airport in Southern Connecticut(HVN). Avelo’s new LAS base commences operations today coinciding with the opening of Avelo’s six latest destinations.
