Wizz Air Launches Low-Cost Saudi Flights!
We know you love to save as much as you can while traveling. Well, the wait is over for Wizz Air is making a dramatic change by introducing a long-haul route from London Gatwick Airport to Saudi Arabia with the most pleasing heart-stopping offer? Tickets are starting from £134.99 (no, you do not need to adjust your sight or pinch yourself). Expensive flight fares to the Middle East are now history courtesy of an affordable scheme brought to you by Wizz Air.
Launching this route in March 2025, this low-cost carrier will be opening its first flight from Gatwick to Jeddah one of the significant trade seaports of Saudi Arabia. The trip which is almost three thousand miles and a half hour duration will be on board the airlines newly ordered fleet of Airbus A321XLR Jets. These planes are in a nutshell, the quintessence of everything you want in an aviation machine that goes over long distances; cheaper, environmental friendlier and more efficient in long distance travel.
The A321XLR: Saving Money and the Planet (One Flight at a Time)
So, what is in it for everyone with Airbus A321XLR? In the words of Wizz Air’s chief executive, this jet is "the most cost-effective aircraft of its type." Modified: They have come up with a solution, which can take you from point A to point B or C or even D and give you the best value for money and the least harm to the environment. Fitted with a surplus fuel tank, such aircraft consume as much as 30% less fuel per every single passenger, and those two facts say a lot for your wallet and the planet. They even had travel bargains to make people feel, as if they are saving the earth.
Apart from the Gatwick to Jeddah route, Wizz Air is also launching a new Milan to Abu Dhabi service, again on the ‘green’ jets. These aircraft are adaptable for up to eight hour flights – a favorable feature for people who desire to go to different parts of the world yet do not want to feel the pinch.
How About Comfort?
Okay, let’s address the elephant in the (airplane) cabin: the seats. Yes, the seats don’t recline. But before you start stressing about seven hours of sitting upright in misery, Wizz Air assures us that the seats are of pleasant earning and that when, you sit, it feels relaxed enough. Are you going to be settled up like royalty? Probably not. But would you be able to manage the flight without breaking the bank and still have some budget left for the real activities? Yes, definitely.
Big Jets, Big Investments
Now, how much does one of these fancy new Airbus A321XLR jets cost? Wizz Air isn’t saying, but industry insiders estimate it’s somewhere around £98.9 million per aircraft. But hey, with fares starting at just £134.99, you can leave the financial worries to the airline while you focus on planning your next adventure.
