The newly established Indonesia Airlines (PT Indonesia Airlines Group) —because why complicate things—will take off from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, focusing solely on international routes. Forget short-haul island hops; this airline is aiming big, planning connections to 48 destinations across 30 countries in its first five years.

A Singapore-based investment firm (because, of course, Singapore is involved) with interests in renewable energy and agriculture is backing this ambitious aviation project. Because nothing says “diversified portfolio” like running a farm, a solar park, and an airline at the same time.
The Fleet and Expansion Plans
In an industry where “go big or go home” is the norm, Indonesia Airlines is coming in strong, planning to assemble a fleet of 20 aircraft, potentially featuring:
