Japan Airlines Announces Nonstop Service to Doha
First Japanese Airline to Operate a Direct Flight to the Middle East
JAL has today stated its intention of launching this new route and establishing Tokyo (Haneda) to Doha, Qatar as a new daily nonstop service that will start operating from summer 2024. The significance of establishing such a connection by Japan Airlines is that it would be the first direct flight between Japan and any destination in the Middle East.
This move therefore also means that JAL through its partner airline, Qatar Airways (QR), another oneworld® alliance member, will conveniently connect passengers from both continents; hence pass them over to Africa and South America.
Unique among Gulf cities, Doha offers an integration of contemporary life with traditional practices. It preserves its past while offering modern amenities for local people and visitors alike as well as an assortment of various cultures and international cuisines. Among other exciting things about traveling are desert escapades, historical artifacts found in museums or Grand Prix races, and football games at least for those who love sports.
