WestJet Ventures into South Korea with Calgary-Seoul Route

WestJet Ventures into South Korea with Calgary-Seoul Route

The upcoming news is that WestJet is exploring Seoul, the busy capital of South Korea. The first route of the airline company to Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) will be from Calgary International Airport starting this May.

Introduction of Asia-Pacific Gateway:

This move by WestJet not only expands its network but also makes Calgary a main gateway into the Asia-Pacific region. Flights are scheduled for three days a week; therefore, people traveling from anywhere in Western Canada can easily access one of the liveliest cities in Asia.

Creating Connections:

Until now, Air Canada and Korean Air were the two airlines providing direct flights between Canada and South Korea. However, what distinguishes WestJet is that it operates only Calgary-Seoul flights which gives passengers an opportunity to connect seamlessly between these two vibrant cities.

Inaugurating New Horizons WestJet Ventures into South Korea:

Apart from diversifying its route network, this move allows WestJet to explore markets outside North America thus increasing its global presence. This will be the second airport in Asia-Pacific where West Jet flies after Tokyo Narita International Airport hence travelers should expect new levels of cultural exchange and travel experience.

A Trio of Successes:

By joining other international carriers like Air Canada and Korean Air, West Jet strengthens ties between Canada and South Korea thereby promoting economic growth as well as people-to-people contacts among nations. Moreover, introduction of flights connecting Calgary with Seoul adds more choices on air travel market giving passengers enhanced flexibility during their trips.

Embracing the Journey:

People are excitedly waiting for a start date announcement for this route considering all adventures awaiting them along the way. With endless things to do such as visiting historical sites within city limits or even eating different dishes prepared locally plus getting immersed into vibrant culture – there can never be enough said about what tourists might experience when they land at ICN after departing YYC.

This is just another step in WestJet’s continuous effort to connect more Canadian cities with international destinations whilst deepening relationship between Canada and South Korea. So as Calgary-Seoul leg starts operating, be prepared to travel around world while creating memories that will last lifetime. Get ready for an experience of lifetime!
